How does a pipe nozzle work?

A nozzle is a technical device designed to control the direction, rate, and pressure of fluid flow as it enters or exits a pipe, tube, or enclosed chamber. By constricting or expanding the passage through which the fluid travels, the nozzle effectively manages the fluid’s velocity, pressure, and flow characteristics.
